Brock Sykes

In the late 1970's, Brock Sykes originally studied Illustration and Fine Art at the Seven Hills College of TAFE, Brisbane. Brock then attended The City Art Institute CAE, Sydney, during the early 1980's. During the 1980's and early 90's Brock occasionally exhibited his art and also studied for a Diploma of Horticulture/Landscape Technician. For the next thirty years he worked in film and television art departments, usually as a Set Decorator or Greensman, responsible for creating gardens and landscapes for film sets.

Over the past three years he has returned to painting, showing work at the Orchard Street Gallery in Taralga NSW and with The Artists Of The Roundyard, Bowral NSW.
