Justin Pearson

Justin Pearson was born in Christchurch, New Zealand in 1963. Justin also studied art in London at the Byam Shaw art school that is now part of the St Martins school of art and received his BA there. His Favorite medium is oil on canvas and Board. Nature and music, the mysteries of the Universe, are his inspiration. Each painting motivates thought and a challenging artistic response. He is celebrated in visionary art circles for his attention to detail, mastery of colour and bold use of subject matter. Since 1989 he resides in Australia where he has become a citizen. He has his works in various establishments here in Australia and also around the world.

“In my work I try to reach to the subconscious. I want to keep the viewer’s attention for a longer moment. I would like the spectator to feel the need for a minute of quiet reflection and contemplation.
