Justin Pearson

Justin Pearson was born in Christchurch, New Zealand in 1963. Justin also studied art in London at the Byam Shaw art school that is now part of the St Martins school of art and received his Bachelor of Art there. His favorite medium is oil on canvas and board. Nature, music and the mysteries of the universe are his inspiration. Each painting motivates thought and a challenging artistic response. He is celebrated in visionary art circles for his attention to detail, mastery of colour and bold use of subject matter. An Australian citizen since 1989, he has his works in various establishments locally and around the world.

“In my work I try to reach to the subconscious. I want to keep the viewer’s attention for a longer moment. I would like the spectator to feel the need for a minute of quiet reflection and contemplation.”
