Marlene Murray

Marlene Murray is an artist engaged in painting and drawing the land, animals and birds at Joadja Creek 30 km west of Bowral in the Southern highlands of NSW.

The artists who have most influenced her work are John Wolseley and William Robinson.

She has a deep interest in nature and through her artwork hopes to give a voice to all things of the more than human world.

She has attended National Art School (Life Drawing); Julian Ashton (Painting and life Drawing),Mick Pfahl, Catavento Sculpture studio; many and various short courses and workshops and has exhibited work since the 1970s.
